SAT NAV INSTRUCTIONS
4 miles north west of Reading, signed from the A4074 (Caversham to Oxford road).
Please note -
either Tilehurst (the other side of the river) or via The Warren which is inaccessible to traffic.
Mapledurham is best accessed by leaving the M4 at Junction 11 towards Caversham and then
taking the A4074 towards Wallingford/Oxford. (Turn left over Caversham bridge onto this road).
Travel on this road for approximately 2 miles. As you leave the housing area you will see a
golf course on the left and another one on the right beside the Pack Saddle pub.
Turn left opposite the Pack Saddle towards Mapledurham Village.
At the old Cross roads (Trench Green) Turn left towards Mapledurham Village follow this road
for 1 mile. Take great care on this road!
As you approach the village you will see a post box in the wall and a telephone box.
As you drive down to the village you will need to follow the one way system,
marshals will direct you to the car parks.
Visitors may also arrive by boat from nearby Caversham.
Thames Rivercruise will depart Caversham Pier Thameside (where there is car parking)

Please note that there is no public transport to Mapledurham. The nearest rail station is Reading
(approximately 5 miles away) but there is no connecting bus etc.
Camping is available for the public in the field by the carpark on any of the nights 15th to 17th June.
Tents and camper vans are all welcome. You are required to vacate the site by noon of the day you are
leaving (Please note this is a camping only charge and does not include event entry which has to be

There are toilet facilities available 24 hours a day for the campers but no shower utilities etc. so you'll
need to bring your own facilities and use of the campsite is at your own risk. You will have access to
